1. How long does modeling take?
Routine bridges can complete full-bridge 3D modeling and route planning within hours, far more efficient than traditional manual survey modeling. Modeling uses oblique photography / LiDAR / model import approaches — one collection, full-bridge modeling, without repeated surveys.
2. Does it support full under-bridge modeling?
The solution supports fine modeling of all low-position members such as girder soffits, bearings and columns, achieving 100% full-element modeling coverage for routine expressway and municipal bridges; only some controlled special bridges (such as railway or navigation-restricted areas) have flight restrictions requiring processing per access requirements.
3. Applicability of different modeling approaches
| Modeling approach | Applicable to |
|---|---|
| Oblique photography | Routine full-element modeling, high accuracy |
| LiDAR | Complex structures, high-accuracy scenarios |
| BIM model import | Bridges with existing design / as-built models |
4. Applicable conditions and scenarios
- Base setup for new digital inspection projects
- Key bridges requiring full under-bridge modeling
- Existing bridges with BIM and CAD materials
5. Notes
Modeling is a one-time investment and can be reused long term after completion; for some controlled bridges, the impact of flight restrictions on modeling scope should be evaluated in advance.
