1. What determines the coverage area?
Ground Sampling Distance (GSD) is the actual ground size represented by a single pixel and is the core parameter for measuring image accuracy. Coverage area is proportional to flight altitude and inversely proportional to focal length and resolution requirements: the higher the accuracy required, the smaller the single-frame coverage and the more photos are needed.
2. Data scale of actual inspections
Taking a medium-sized bridge of about 500m as an example, one inspection generates nearly 100GB of data and over ten thousand photos, all automatically screened and detected by AI without manual one-by-one review. Although the data volume is large, the processing is fully automated and does not affect the delivery cycle.
